Abstract

The African continent is projected to increase population over the coming years. Sub-Saharan Africa accounts for the highest population growth projections and the most populous organizations that seek outsourcing. We explored whether three sub- Saharan African countries  with U.N. growth projections as potential outsourcing destinations, and set out to identify what these countries could do to attract companies. We found that the limited support for growing organizations, such as electronics, is connected to having a limited skilled workforce in I.T. to support the growing organization’s needs. To attain a suitable business environment and attract outsourcing clients and investors from other countries, African governments should take the initiative to improve their nations’ specialized training and infrastructure.
