Abstract

This study examines the multifoci justice paradigm in which the intricate relationship between organizational and supervisory justice was further explored. The study hypothesized that supervisory justice would moderate the relationship between organizational justice and various work outcomes (e.g., leader-member exchange, job satisfaction, and turnover intentions). Data was collected from 144 participants employed at a non-profit, agricultural organization in Zimbabwe. Findings support the study’s hypotheses and illustrate how supervisory justice strengthens the relationship between organizational justice and work outcomes. The findings provide support for the multifoci justice paradigm by demonstrating how supervisory justice perceptions play a vital role in strengthening the relationship between organizational justice and work outcomes and eliciting both organizational- and supervisory-focused work outcomes. Implications of the study are discussed which include the need to empower supervisors in an effort to proliferate work outcomes
